Travelled from Stevenage to take my other half on a surprise date night (50 minute drive) and it was more than worth it. The food was amazing, the taste of everything we ordered exceeded expectations and there is so much choice! Cocktails are delicious. The staff helped make the experience as good as it was and we have already arranged to return for a friends birthday. Only just got home and already can’t wait. Thanks guys!!!
Wonderful meal! The meat was amazing and the sides lovely. Great portion sizes. Friendly staff. Only complaint was the long wait but that was forgiven by how good the food was. It was so good we then ordered takeaway the next day.
I really liked the service. The staff were very polite and helpful. - The food came reasonably quickly. The food was great, but the portion sizes were a bit too small. I tried the burger, nice smoky flavor, but tiny for 15.
Hidden gem in Bedford...Really delicious and food that's different from elsewhere. The burger was loaded with extra stuff and I haven't had tater tots for a long time.
We ordered the Fat Cup feast for 49 and it was very good! A lot of mixed pork meat, 2 serves of chips, beans, slaws and bread. Bottomless soda drinks for 3.80. Very nice staff and clean restaurant. Just a little suggestion, change the plates because they were too small compared to the huge amount of meat you serve! Thanks
Valentine's meal in 2021. Something many will be taking away this year due to COVID. FatCap did not disappoint! Nachos, burgers, and cake. Can't complain! And they even amended the red wine to rose for the wife, brilliant!
Delicious food. The beef brisket was particularly tender. Lots of smokey bbq flavour. Great portion sizes. Nice beer selection. Friendly service. My only critique would be I would have expected something better than heinz bbq sauce in the condiments. A real American one would be much better. Never the less, I'll be back soon
This was our first experience eating in at fatcap after a few of there delicious takeaways during lockdown and it wasn't one to dissapoint! The waiting staff was excellent, the food menu was broad and full of delicious food which made it impossible to choose what to have which I guess is the beauty of it and wanting to come back to try something else! The outdoor seating is warm and enclosed from the elements, we thoroughly enjoyed our lunch while it rained and didn't feel a drop once! Cocktails was also not too shabby! Will be back soon!
